Two more victims, including a 13 year old girl, died at a hospital following a murder-suicide committed by a Thai man who was caught having a romantic affair with the teenage victim, his sister-in-law.
The 35 year old Thai man, Kiattisak, carried out the murder-suicide at the home of his wife, 26 year old Nannaphat, in the Khlong Luang district of Pathum Thani province on Tuesday, September 2. He shot four of his wife’s family members before taking his own life in a truck parked outside the house.
Nannaphat’s mother, 46 year old Thatsanee, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 43 year old uncle, Chaiwat, and her 13 year old sister were found in critical condition inside the property. Another victim, 36 year old Anulak, reportedly rode his motorcycle to the hospital to seek treatment for himself.
Nannaphat told police that she had recently discovered her husband was having an affair with her younger sister. The couple attempted to resolve the issue by arranging a meeting at the home of Kiattisak’s older brother, but he did not attend. Instead, he went to Nannaphat’s house and carried out the attack.
Nannaphat added that her five year old son had been asleep inside the house at the time of the incident. Fortunately, Kiattisak did not harm him.

The Hone Krasae news programme on Channel 3 reported on the evening of yesterday, September 3, that two more victims, Chaiwat and the teenage girl, had died in hospital.
Officers from Khlong Ha Police Station told DailyNews that they are now collecting relevant evidence to conclude the case.

Police checked the security camera inside the house, but it did not capture the incident as Nannaphat had disconnected it earlier. She explained that she had done so to prevent Kiattisak from accessing it.
The bodies of the victims are undergoing an autopsy at Thammasat University Hospital, after which they will be returned to the family for funeral proceedings.
