SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A 23-year-old man was found dead after drowning at Hippie Hole, a swimming and cliff jumping spot in the Black Hills.
According to posts by the Pennington County Sheriff’s office, the body of Jaden White Plume of Box Elder was recovered between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Saturday.
The sheriff’s office said alcohol was involved in the incident, and that White Plume was entangled in underwater debris.
The drowning is still being investigated.
