SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Three South Dakota Lottery players took home prizes after Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing.
The players came from all different parts of the state.
The first winning ticket was purchased at a Hy Vee Gas on West 26th Street in Sioux Falls. The player matched 5 of 5 winning numbers in the Double Play drawing and was just the Double Play Powerball away from winning the add-ons $10 million top prize. That resulted in a $500,000 prize.
Another Double Play prize was won in Watertown. That ticket was purchased at Stones Truck Stop. The player won $50,000.
A $200,000 prize was won after a player matched 4 of 5 winning numbers plus the Powerball for the game’s third prize. The player purchased the Power Play add on, which then multiplied the prize by 4. The $200,000 ticket was purchased at 4E Foods in Philip.
No winners were chosen in Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot drawing. The jackpot is anticipated to be $950 million.
