RAPID CITY, SD (KELO) — Four South Dakota men are facing attempted enticement of a minor charges following a law enforcement undercover sting at this week’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
All four suspects are from the Black Hills area: 36-year-old Elmer Hopper of Rapid City, 23-year-old Beau Remington of Black Hawk, 30-year-old Jayson Gomez of Rapid City and 36-year-old Joshua Allen of Hermosa.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says they were arrested separately while attempting to meet with a person they believed to be a 14-year-old girl for the purpose of having sex.
The charge carries a possible sentence of 10 years up to life in prison.
