Shoppers have reacted poorly to the reveal, as they battle similar price hikes on other products.

The worker exposed a $34.47 price increase on a Gorumia airfryer on the social media platform Reddit.
The stickers reveal that this airfryer increased in price by 58% in just 33 days.
The implications of the price increase have even been passed onto Walmart employees.
One person said: “It sucks cause now all of our GM departments are down in sales compared to last year.
“Now our Part timers are getting their hours cut.”
And another person expressed their suspicion that this wasn’t the first price increase this product had seen.
They theroized: “Sad part is. Last sticker was from 33 days ago and already shows a 20% increase on the price before that.
“This is probably the 4th increase of the year for the same item.
“But, nope.. nothing to see here. Inflation is manageable. The country is doing just fine.
“Economy is booming. Foreign countries are paying the tariffs.”

This is not the first time that Walmart shoppers have been forced to swallow price hikes.
Last month, shoppers were hit with an increase in the Fresh Shrimp with Sauce, going from $4.98 to $9.99, a rise of 100.6%.

A furious customer slammed: “All together now: Who pays the tariffs? We pay the tariffs.
“Tariffs are taxes on Americans and will cause inflation that will make you beg for the Biden years.”
Someone else chimed: “Thanks Donald.
“People don’t realize how long the supply change takes.
“Even if he canceled the tariffs the day right after he made them, there would be impact in prices way down the line.
“We are going to be seeing this more and more in the coming days-weeks.”
