ALDI customers were shocked after reading a sign posted by an employee earlier this month.
The staffer noted that a popular offering would be getting the axe starting next month.

A longtime shopper at Aldi, Marta, took a snapshot of the sign at her local store, which was typed and printed out before being taped to a nearby shelf.
“As of July we will no longer carry Aldi Finds aka ‘aisle of shame’ aka ‘the fun aisle,’” the sign read, per a post on Facebook.
Aldi Finds are notably limited-time special offerings on products that are rotated on a weekly basis and typically have significant discounts.
Items that will be included in the next rotation are also often teased the week before.
CUSTOMERS’ CHOICE
Except, a way to get the Aldi Finds aisle back was also detailed by the staffer.
“Please take the survey on the bottom of your receipt and let them know if you would like to keep it,” the sign continued.
“We are hoping that if they hear from enough of you all they will change their mind.”
Based on that information, it seems even Aldi employees were surprised at the Finds aisle removal at the store in Carthage, Missouri, about 58 miles west of Springfield.
“HELP! If they could do this in my store it could eventually be other stores….noooooo Carthage Mo,” Marta wrote.
Several fellow customers also cried out in disbelief.
“I would stop shopping at Aldi if they did this to mine,” someone commented.
“No no no!!! They need to keep it. A lot of people will quit shopping if this happens,” another said.
CONTINUED TREND?
Some also noted that their Aldi Finds aisle was also removed.
“It seems they got rid of the aisle of shame at my location. I was totally taken aback,” an Aldi fan added.
How many Aldi stores are there in the US?
AS of May 12, 2025, there are 2,510 Aldi stores operating across 41 states and territories in the United States.
Florida leads with 244 locations, followed by Illinois (215), Ohio (170).
In 2025, the company plans to open 225 new stores.
“We lost ours!” someone else exclaimed.
But, why would Aldi take away the Finds aisle if it’s so beloved?
A shopper claimed that it was “due to higher theft” at select stores, and others blamed President Donald Trump’s global reciprocal tariffs.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Aldi for more information.
