In a competitive profession like acting, it is important for an actor to stay positive. Kapil Nirmal, who is seen in Colors TV‘s show Mangal Lakshmi, agrees with it. He says, “Life experiences have helped me evolve as an actor and as a person. I focus on my journey instead of comparing myself with others.”
“Competition will always exist, but your growth depends on how you channel your energy positively,” he adds.
The industry can also give moments of doubt, and the actor believes in channelling that energy into work. He adds, “Whenever I feel low, I focus on my craft and remind myself why I started this journey in the first place.”
There isn’t one proud moment in his career, as every project has contributed to his career in some way. He says, “Honestly, every project that gives me recognition and financial independence feels like an achievement. Earning through my passion has been my proudest and most satisfying feeling.”
Kapil also confesses that the industry has become much faster and more digital-driven since the time he started. He says, “Social media plays a huge role now, and audience feedback is instant. Opportunities have increased, but so has the pressure to stay consistent.”
Having spent so much time in the industry, he has even evolved as an actor. “I keep observing people, learning from every project, and trying to adapt to new styles of storytelling. Being flexible and open to learning is what keeps me growing as an actor,” Kapil concludes.
