TRADER Joe’s is known for it’s tasty pantry staples, but shoppers were recently left raging as rumors began to swirl a lunchtime favorite was leaving the shelves for good.
Posting on the popular Facebook group Trader Joe’s Discontinued, one food fan shared her concern.

She wrote: “Does anyone know if these have been discontinued?” alongside a snap of the Organic Brown Rice Cake Thins.
It’s understandable why the food fan was so upset over not being able to find her beloved rice cakes.
Trader Joe’s bosses describe the grub as “an excellent snack choice.”
“Made simply of puffed organic brown rice with a light sprinkling of sea salt, Organic Brown Rice Cake Thins are an excellent snack choice.
“Each serving (six Thins!) is just 110 calories, with 1g fat and 0g sugar. They’re gluten free and kosher, too,” they added.
The rice thins are also thin, but dense for a satisfying crunch.
After her Facebook post, two Trader Joe’s employees chimed in to assure the food fan the rice cake thins would be back in no time.
“Trader Joe’s snack order writer here, the product will be back some time towards the end of September At least at my store. Not discontinued,” one commented.
And a second added: “Out of stock until about mid September. Same with chocolate covered ones.”
The foodie was happy to hear the rice cakes would return and wrote: “Thank you these are a staple at my house!”
The rice cakes aren’t the only reason to dash to your nearest Trader Joe’s though, as fans are raving over the chain bringing back a viral popular candy for summer.
A shopper took to Reddit after spotting their Gummy Bears Candy back on shelves.
They uploaded a photo of the milk chocolate-covered treat being sold in 227g bags.
And it seems the return of the snack has been long-awaited.
