A clerk for the court exclusively confirmed to The U.S. Sun that their divorce has been officially granted.

Mackenzie and Ryan did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.

MARRIAGE OVER

Mackenzie filed for divorce in February 2023 after six years of marriage.

The divorce came after she accused him of abuse.

She then filed an Order of Protection against him in March 2023, requesting he have no contact and stay away from her.

Mackenzie requested temporary custody of their children Jagger, 6, and Stella, 4, and for Ryan to pay child and spousal support.

Ryan told The U.S. Sun at the time of the abuse allegations, “I don’t speak for her. I never wanted to hurt her, just tried telling her I would have loved to work on it because I still at the time wanted to.”

The Order of Protection was dropped at a July 14, 2023 court hearing to allow Ryan to speak with their children through her.

Mackenzie and Ryan’s divorce was dismissed in February 2024 because there were no filings for 270 days.

Ryan then filed a new complaint for divorce on March 6, 2024.

He requested split custody of their children in court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun

The MTV star requested he be the “designated primary residential parent” and “that child support be assigned from [Mackenzie’s] income.”

Mackenzie never responded to the filing and the case was consolidated with the original divorce.

CHILD SUPPORT BATTLE

Mackenzie and Ryan have been at war over child support and custody for their two children.

In October 2025, Mackenzie requested child support from Ryan after he allegedly “refused” to pay.

In court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun, Ryan filed financial information ahead of their hearing and listed his monthly income as $16,010 a month.

In Mackenzie’s child support petition, she stated that Ryan is employed and has income from MTV’s Teen Mom

“Because mother has physical custody of the parties’ two children and father is gainfully employed, the Court should order child support to be paid by Father to Mother during the pendency of this case, and at the final hearing said child support obligation be made permanent,” court papers read.

Mackenzie asked the court to set current child support and retroactive child support back to the date of separation.

In a separate court filing, Ryan was asked to provide “each and every checking account” maintained by him in the last three years.

One checking account in his sole name had a balance of $2,200 as of September 2024.

In another account, there is a balance of just $57.47 as of September 2024.

When asked to disclose savings accounts and retirement plans, Ryan responded “none.”

In regard to debt, Ryan listed Capital One credit cards totaling $18,000.

Ryan was ordered to pay temporary child support in the amount of $1,553 per month for their two children in February 2025.

In July, Ryan demanded the court adjust their child support agreement because he is no longer employed with MTV.

The Motion to Modify Temporary Child Support read, “This Court entered an Order Setting Temporary Child Support on or about February 11, 2025.

“Said order was based upon Defendant’s income at the time ($13,333 per month) which included his earnings from his appearances on a certain television series.”

Ryan continued of his involvement on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, “Defendant is no longer earning income through that series, through no fault of his own.”

This seemingly confirmed rumors the show has been canceled.

He then revealed his only current income is through his full time employment at a truck and trailer repair shop, where he makes 27 dollars an hour.

The court papers continued, “Defendant is unable to continue to pay support in accordance with the October 2024 Order and requests that this court enter an Order Modifying Support until the final hearing in this matter.”

Ryan claims he now makes $4,282 a month and sees the kids just 26 days of the year.

He believes Mackenzie’s income is $4,166.

RYAN EDWARDS’ RELATIONSHIP STRUGGLES

Ryan Edwards and his estranged wife, Mackenzie, have also been in court over their divorce and custody of their kids:

Ryan is battling Mackenzie, 28, while trying to divorce her.

Mackenzie filed for divorce from her husband in February 2023 after getting married in 2017.

The U.S. Sun previously reported the divorce was dismissed in February 2024, because there were no filings in the case for 270 days.

Ryan then filed his own divorce case against his estranged wife

According to a Tennessee court docket viewed by The U.S. Sun, Ryan filed for “divorce with minor child” in early March.

He also filed a permanent proposed parenting plan.

Ryan requested to be the “designated the primary residential parent” of their two children and “that child support be assigned from Mackenzie’s income.”

The U.S. Sun also reported Mackenzie filed an order of protection against Ryan on March 28, 2023.

The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.

In early April 2024, a hearing took place and both parties agreed to a mutual restraining order.

RYAN’S REDEMPTION

Ryan has been sober for two years after a relapse and legal troubles.

He was sentenced to nearly one year in Silverdale Detention Center in April 2023 after Ryan was arrested for drinking under the influence, harassment, and drug possession charges.

He was released from prison just months later in July 2023 and entered Cadas Rehab in Chattanooga, Tennessee to complete a 28-day program.

After completing the program, he was ordered to the Oasis halfway house, located on the same property as Cadas, during a court hearing in August 2023.

Ryan was then arrested in December 2023 for not following the terms of his probation and was released weeks later.

He has stayed out of trouble since the release.

He began dating now-fiancee Amanda Conner after meeting at rehab in the summer of 2023.

Ryan and Amanda welcomed their daughter, Presley Sage Eliana Edwards, in February.

Ryan appears to be more active with Jagger and Stella, as they went to Florida with his family for a vacation.

He also posted from his children’s first day of school.

Ryan is also dad to son Bentley, 16, with ex-fiance Maci Bookout.
