Today’s episode begins with Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) confronting the Kotharis, asking why girls are not given freedom. She emphasizes that Prarthana would be in a better situation now if she had been given the chance to speak up. Prarthana accepts that she wasn’t asked if she wanted to marry. However, Vasundhara asks Anupama if it is ethical to roam and stay together before marriage, claiming that divorce often occurs in love marriages.
Anupama takes a stand and gives Vasundhara a reality check, sharing that Prarthana and Gautam’s divorce happened because Gautam was an animal, he wasn’t good with his wife. At the same time, Khyaati taunts Anupama, saying she has been married twice, but both marriages have failed. However, Anupama firmly tells Khyaati that if she wants, she can share her story another day, but today is all about Prarthana. Anupama also asks if Parag was allowed and found a better partner in his second marriage, so why is Prarthana not allowed? Lastly, she requests Parag and the Kotharis to bless Prarthana. Prarthana also joins her hands, and they leave.
On the other hand, Leela worries, wondering what would have happened at the Kothari house as Anupama went for the invitation with Prarthana. Pakhi calls out Anupama, calling her an attention seeker. Jaspreet becomes angry and confronts Pakhi, but Leela stops them. Prarthana expresses her concern, asking Anupama if her family will attend her wedding. Anupama consoles her, asking her not to think too much, as they did what they could, and the rest depends on time. Later, Anupama opens the door of Anu Ki Rasoi, sparking flashbacks.
