HOMEOWNERS are in line to get a payment worth up to $1,000 and checks are set to arrive in months.
Claimants can get a share of a giant $258 million pot and have until the end of the year to apply.

A one-time rebate is available to Americans who paid property taxes on their homes.
The rebate is available to homeowners and renters in Philadelphia, Scranton and Pittsburgh.
The amount of money you will receive is based on your income and some applicants may qualify for supplemental rebates as well.
Those earning up to $8,270 could receive up to $1,000, according to Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, anyone earning between $18,611 and $46,520 can claim a maximum of $380.
There is a strict eligibility criteria as homeowners or renters must be 65 and older.
Widows and widowers who are 50 and older or people with disabilities, who are over 18, are also eligible.
To qualify for the scheme, your household income must be $46,520 or less annually.
And, applications must be submitted before December 31.
Homeowners and renters can submit their application form online, or mail it.
Americans could start receiving their checks within a few months of their applications being processed.
However, those who have filed a paper request might have to wait longer for their check.
Officials estimate that it could take 90 days for paper claims to be processed.
Homeowners can check the status of their rebates by using an online tool available at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website.
Pennsylvania is not the only state where Americans can get a rebate or some form of relief.
Inflation-busting payments, worth up to $400, will be sent out across New York this fall.
Illinois officials are in the process of sending $45 million to 600,000 people across the state.
And, residents don’t have to complete a form or send an application to get the money that is owed to them.
“The first thing we tell people, is this – the money belongs to you, the check is real, and this is not a scam,” Michael Frerichs, the state treasurer, said he as unveiled the program in July.
Most people in the state will pocket $50 each, but some checks may be larger.
In the spring, officials in Georgia announced how taxpayers across the state would be receiving a rebate worth up to $500.
In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis proposed a property tax rebate of $1,000 for homeowners across the state.
Under his proposals, the checks would be issued in December.
