COSTCO customers will soon see the return of a beloved perk.
The warehouse retailer confirmed this month that select consumers would have access in honor of their loyalty.

Executive members will specifically benefit[/caption]
To shop at Costco for personal use or as a business, you must purchase one of two membership tiers.
They include Gold Star and Executive.
Gold Star is the base level option, costing $65 per year.
Top perks include two membership cards for use per household online or in-store at any one of Costco’s 628 stores nationwide and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
The guarantee means that the company will cancel or refund the membership at any time if a customer is unsatisfied.
Executive has more benefits at $130 annually.
Along with the same ones for Gold Star, there are discounts on Costco services and a 2% annual reward.
That means that Executive members who shop often get 2% back overall from their purchases to be used on Costco merchandise or through Costco Travel.
EARLY BIRD
Paying double the cost could be justified for some consumers by this aspect alone, but Costco is now making the Executive membership more enticing, per Business Insider.
Starting June 30, Executive members will be able to shop at Costco’s 628 stores around the country an hour earlier than Gold Star members.
“Our Executive Members are our most loyal members, and we want to reward them for their commitment to Costco,” the retailer wrote in an email to the publication.
It wouldn’t be the first time this was offered to Executive members, either.
In recent years, select locations did have extended shopping for them, but it was slowly phased out.
According to Costco’s email, it also isn’t the only benefit that’s coming for Executive members this summer, either.

MORE, PLEASE
After the same date on June 30, Executive shoppers will also get a $10 monthly credit for orders through Instacart and $150 worth of other savings on Costco Services.
But, why so much focus on Executive members?
Costco’s data shows that around 73% of its overall sales are from Executive members.
Not only does the retailer likely want to keep current Executive members happy, but it can ideally convince current Gold Star members or new shoppers to the chain to upgrade.
During an earnings call last month, Costco also noted that it was testing earlier hours at its gas stations for all members.
Executives said the impact has since been positive.
Another membership perk unrelated to shopping recently stirred up controversy among travelers.
CEO Ron Vachris also noted on the same May earnings call that Costco would be opening 24 new warehouses and relocating at least three others.
He even noted that a major payment change was gaining a positive response from longtime members.
