Four of the routes are based in St. Paul, Minneapolis. There, the airline is cutting flights from St. Paul to Albuquerque, Buffalo, Fairbanks and Great Falls.
The company is also cutting routes from Salt Lake City to Toronto, and from Atlanta to Fresno.
On the positive side, the airline has added several new routes leaving from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
The airline added routes to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Memphis International Airport, and St. Louis Lambert International Airport, taking flight on September 8.
The routes will initially run at least once a day.
The airline also extended routes leaving from New York’s LaGuardia Airport.
Travelers can now continue to enjoy daily flight service to Panama City Beach’s Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport through November 6.
The airline has one last major New York expansion, which includes flights from Westchester County Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

American Airlines announced a route that won’t be taken by plane, but rather by bus instead.
The airline has announced a new coach bus route connecting Trenton to Philadelphia International Airport.
Those taking the shuttle to Philadelphia will undergo TSA screening beforehand, so they won’t need to go through security again once at the Philadelphia airport.
The service will run three times a day, each way starting September 22, according to the airline.

Air India announced that services between Washington DC and New Delhi will be suspended starting September 1.
The announcement comes as the airline “continues to address the aftermath of the fatal crash of flight AI 171 in June,” reported Aviation Week.
The company said passengers will be affected until “at least” the end of 2026.
ALASKA AIRLINES
Alaska Airlines announced its first-ever transatlantic route from Seattle, Washington, to London Heathrow.
