RICH Eisen marked his long-awaited SportsCenter return with a special top-10 list this week.
But the NFL host was challenged over his choice of top play by an ESPN analyst.

Eisen hosted a special edition of SportsCenter to mark his return to the network.
He last presented the show 22 years ago before leaving for new ventures, including NFL Network and his own self-titled show.
The 56-year-old is licensing his show to ESPN from this season.
And he appeared on SportsCenter last Monday to celebrate being reunited with the sports giants.
Eisen presented his own top-10 list on the program.
It featured his best NFL plays since he last presented SportsCenter more than two decades ago.
ESPN analyst Mina Kimes watched on intently before disagreeing with his choice of top pick.
“Really, that’s No. 1?” she wondered.
Eisen’s list began with Odell Beckham’s one-handed catch for the New York Giants against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014.
At No. 9 was Devin Hester’s 92-yard kickoff return on the very first play of Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Florida.
“Prince was the greatest halftime performance in the history of the Super Bowl,” Eisen added.
Marshawn Lynch’s run for the Seattle Seahawks through the New Orleans Saints defence in the NFC playoffs came next.
And that was followed by another play against the Saints, Stefon Diggs’ last-gasp catch for the Vikings in the “Minnesota Miracle.”
Plays six through four on Eisen’s list were all from the Super Bowl.
First game Julian Edelman’s catch in Super Bowl LI when the New England Patriots fought back from 28-3 down to beat the Atlanta Falcons.

The fourth play was David Tyree’s helmet catch for the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.
Third on Eisen’s list was Steve Gleason’s blocked punt for the New Orleans Saints in their first home game since Hurricane Katrina.
“I’ve never heard a stadium louder than that,” Eisen declared.
No. 2 came with an apology to his NFL Network colleague Kurt Warner.

Odell Beckham’s one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys was on the list[/caption]
It was James Harrison intercepting Arizona Cardinals quarterback Warner in Super Bowl XLIII and returning it 100 yards for a Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown.
But the top play on his list was from Super Bowl XLIX.
Malcolm Butler intercepted Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to win the game for the New England Patriots.
ESPN analyst Kimes was shocked that play was No. 1.
“Over the helmet catch?” she asked Eisen.
But the presenter explained his reasoning, saying people went from crying to cheering in the blink of an eye.
Eisen said, “In any sport, I have never seen a stadium have an emotion in a crowd switch in the snap of a finger.”
