Corso will make his final appearance next week for the matchup between Ohio State and Texas, completing his last headgear pick.

Ahead of that special moment, Corso received a tribute video from ESPN with messages from his colleagues, family, and friends.

In that video, Kirk Herbstreit couldn’t hold back his tears when speaking about the importance of Corso.

“It’s been an incredible…” Herbstreit began before tears stopped him.

“An incredible honor. And a privilege to be with you, to be your partner for all these years.

“There will never be another Lee Corso. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, for this show, for this sport.

“You’re one of one. Love ya, bud.”

Corso could be seen dabbing his eyes with a handkerchief after the video was over.

He was then surprised with Herbstreit who met him in person after the video ended.

“That was powerful,” Herbstreit said.

Other College GameDay hosts like Pat McAfee, Reece Davis, and Desmond Howard spoke in the video.

Star coaches like Bill Belichick, Brian Kelly, and Steve Sarkisian also made appearances.

Some guest pickers like Will Ferrell, Scottie Scheffler, and Charles Barkley even showed up.

Fans of College GameDay were crying too watching the video and shared how special it was on social media.

“That was pretty cool @KirkHerbstreit we all love Coach like you do,” one fan said.

“A perfect tribute to the legend that is Coach Lee,” another fan said.

“Don’t think you can do a tribute better than that!” a third fan said.

“Loved the tribute, love LC, next Saturday is going to be another cry fest in this house,” a fourth fan said.

“Who’s cutting onions at 7:35am,” a fifth fan said.
