TEEN Mom star Briana DeJesus has shared a sad update about co-parenting with her baby daddy, Devoin Austin.
The MTV star has been vocal about her struggles in navigating raising her daughters, Nova and Stella, with their fathers, Devoin and Luis Hernandez.

Over the weekend, Briana, 31, revealed where she stands with her baby daddies during an Instagram Live.
“Being a primary parent, it’s hard,” the TV personality told her followers while sitting in the front seat of her car.
She continued by noting that Luis, the dad of her 8-year-old daughter Stella, “is not in the picture” and hasn’t seen their child in several years.
DADDY DRAMA
Luis’s absence isn’t shocking to fans, given he hasn’t been around for much of Stella’s life, per Briana’s storyline on Teen Mom 2.
However, her update on Devoin’s presence for 13-year-old Nova raised eyebrows as he previously was very hands-on with both girls.
“Devoin is not in the picture. He does not live here. He has not seen Nova since Christmas,” Briana exclaimed.
While she noted that her exes contribute financially when they’re able, it’s been difficult juggling her other parenting duties on her own.
The reality star then admitted that her battles with her children’s fathers are partly the reason for undergoing a tubal removal in January 2024, for a more permanent birth control method.
“It’s just a lot. It’s just a lot for one person, and I couldn’t risk that happening again,” Briana confessed.
Fans were heartbroken to learn that Devoin hadn’t been as much of a presence as he used to be, especially as concerns for his well-being heightened over the last few years.
In January 2024, Devoin sparked worry after ranting on social media about his annoyances with his serving job and mentioning selling illegal substances.
Months earlier, the father of one admitted his mental health had taken a hit while going through old clothes from his closet.
He also previously showcased his nasty hand injury after a night of partying, raising alarms about the state of his health.
Before the concerning posts, fans thought Devoin might’ve been on a good path after completing a stint in rehab for a gambling addiction in late 2022.

MTV cameras captured Devoin checking into the facility and aired it on an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
Briana revealed during the episode that Devoin told their daughter he was “going somewhere to change,” before clarifying his whereabouts.

However, even after, Devoin struggled financially and was forced to leave his Florida home after facing eviction.
He announced in May 2024 that he was moving to Michigan for a job opportunity, putting him thousands of miles away from Nova and Stella.
Devoin became a father figure to Stella, often including her in his outings with Nova, since Luis wasn’t around.
During a Teen Mom reunion special in July 2021, Briana broke down in tears while expressing her gratitude to Devoin for “loving” Stella like she was his own.
