Amaal Malik, who hails from a musical family, wants to exhibit a different vibe, something that is totally not in the musician’s style, in the Bigg Boss house. He gets into Bigg Boss 19 with a clear objective of showing people the real persona that he is, which is a far cry from what is being projected of him in the media circles. Bigg Boss 19 will air on JioHotstar and on Colors TV this year.
Amaal Malik talked about why he consented to doing the show, saying, “My consent came from a space where I felt that people had misunderstood me in the recent past. In these 10 years in the industry, I have always taken the righteous path. I have not been affected by work loss. I take it in stride and set off for a vacation. Now people must know the real me. They know my music, they know my heart, but they don’t know my habits and vibes. Whatever gets converted in media is something different from what I am. I want to voice out my feelings in the Big Boss house with subtlety and in a non-aggressive way.”
Citing the challenges he might face in the house, Amaal says, “I might be out of time when it comes to sleep. Perhaps, I will be awake when others sleep. But the rules of the house will not allow me to do it. I am prepared to fight challenges like this.”
He talks about his family saying, “I will miss the time I spend with my father. I will miss my mother too. Armaan is not here; he is in London. So I will miss all three of them. I have a few friends who are big fans of this show. Overall, I will miss my family and friends.”
Amaal talks about his close friends who were earlier contestants on Bigg Boss. “I am very close to Jasmin and Aly. Shukla, Shehnaaz, and a few others are those whom I have watched in the show. People will see a different vibe of the musician in me.”
