Devon took to Instagram to reveal the news in a post which he captioned, “Me and baby broke up.”
Among the snaps he shared was a typed up statement which read, “To me, jobs in this industry feel like a bunch of little marriages.
“Some of em last for a long time if we’re lucky, but most of them are fleeting.
“Permanent until they’re not. That’s the deal. You know what it is when you sign up,” he went on.
Devon added, “Me and the show did three years together, and somethings it was really cool.
DEVON’S ‘TOXIC’ JIBE
“Sometimes it was toxic as well. But we did what we made the most of it what it was, even amidst all of the dysfunction.
“We made a f**ked up lil family.
“More than anything, I’m just really happy I got to do with with Gary and Alex. Really went from running a bar show to working together at 30 rock! It’s a beautiful thing.
“Also, I look caked up in that picture and I feel like it’s important for people to know what I got going on.”
Concluding the statement, Devon wrote, “Anyway, I’m bout to go to Japan. When I get back I’m tryna be in a prestige drama.
“Ideally something with Julianne Moore.
“Hope y’all staying hydrated and getting some money today. Dev.”
Fans were quick to react to the news Devon shared.

CELESTE YIM’S DEPARTURE
Meanwhile, Celeste Yim shared a post where they thanked every crew member at SNL.
Writer Celeste penned, “After five seasons, I’m leaving my job at Saturday Night Live.”
They explained how they was hired over the phone when they was 23, adding, “and the job literally made all of my dreams come true BUT it was also grueling and I slept in my office every week”.

Celeste Yin, a beloved writer on the show, has also revealed their departure[/caption]
Celeste opened up in a post of their own[/caption]
Celeste worked on the show for five seasons[/caption]
They added, “BUT my friends helped me with everything BUT I got yelled at by random famous men BUT some famous girls too BUT I loved it and I laughed every day and it’s where I grew up.”
Celeste continued, “I hate when other people say this but it’s true that I was the first ever out trans person to be a writer for SNL.
“I always felt honored to be working within the long tradition of queer writing at the show.
“Many don’t know this but Chevy is non-binary! I feel so powerless to protect trans people in the world but writing connects us and makes us permanent, so it’s what I will continue to do.”
Celeste then thanked their family and friends before reflecting on how they were “addicted to SNL and to SNL writers” as a kid.
Concluding their post, Celeste thanked “every SNL assistant and production crew member who ever made any part of anything I ever wrote”. Thank you Bowen for changing my life and for making me feel normal.
ROSEBUD EXITS AFTER 4 SEASONS
Meanwhile, Rosebud kept her farewell more simple and concise.
She shared a post shared first by The SNL Network which read, “Rosebud Baker to depart the SNL writing staff after 4 seasons”.
Rosebud shared the post to her story and added three red love heart emojis.

BIG CHANGES PENDING
This comes shortly after the show’s boss Lorne Michaels teased that there will be some major cast changes to Season 51.
The new season, which will premiere on October 4, is set to have a huge shakeup thanks to Lorne.
Speaking to Puck News, Lorne, 80, said “yes” when he was asked if he plans to “shake things up” with the cast.
He then admitted that he felt pressure to “reinvent” the show for the upcoming season.
Lorne only confirmed that James Austin Johnson would be returning to play President Donald Trump, with everything else kept under wraps.
