ST. LOUIS CARDINALS star Willson Contreras was ejected in extraordinary fashion from his latest Major League Baseball game.
Contreras, 33, completely lost his head during the Cardinals‘ series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Venezuelan first baseman had to be held back by his coaches as he was escorted from the field.
Contreras had a colossal crashout after being struck out at the bottom of the seventh.
However, something he had said to umpire Derek Thomas as he walked away saw him get censured.
He apparently looked back in the direction of the umpire before an explosive row erupted.
Contreras spun around and charged back at Thomas as Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol attempted to defuse the situation.
But as he was pulled away, his anger only reached boiling point.
Bench coach Daniel Descalso also attempted to get in between the raging Contreras and the umpire.
However, coach Brant Brown caught a bat in the face for his trouble as Contreras launched it behind him towards the umpire.
And just as things looked to be cooling off, a bucket of gum was then launched on to the playing field around the first baseline.
The flare-up also led to Marmol being ejected from the game following the use of alleged “vulgar” language.
That claim came from crew chief Jordan Baker when speaking to Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat.
Although having been at second base, he did not hear much of the exchange.
The Cardinals held on to win the game 7-6.
It kicked off their four-game series on a positive note, as they sit a way off a wild card for a spot in the National League.
