A WOMAN was allegedly raped during the night in Paris right by the Eiffel Tower.

A man forcibly dragged the victim behind a bush in the dead on night, Le Parisien reported.
He then proceeded to rape her, and her screams alerted the crew of nearby night crime patrols.
The suspect was immediately arrested upon being found.
He reportedly said he was a 17-year-old teenager of Libyan nationality, according to Le Parisien.
However, the prosecutor’s office said: “His identity is currently being verified.”
They added that the victim, believed to be a Ukrainian national, should be re-heard.
The prosecutor said this was given “the victim not being French-speaking and being drunk at the time of the police intervention”.
