SARAH Jessica Parker showed off her natural grey roots as she was spotted in The Hamptons after it was revealed And Just Like That had been cancelled.
At the beginning of the month fans were left devastated when it was announced that the Sex and the City revival series wouldn’t be returning after Season 3.

And Just Like That was cancelled earlier this month[/caption]
After news of And Just Like That coming to an end spread, Sarah, 60, headed to the coast, to enjoy her summer in The Hamptons with her family.
The iconic star cut a casual figure as she we spotted running errands in the sunshine.
The actress stepped out in a white and grey floral dress with a matching sweater, and instead of heels, opted for sneakers.
She was seen holding two shopping bags, as she went about her day.
Sarah wore her trademark long locks in a bun, which revealed her natural grey roots.
The star wore minimal makeup, and shielded her eyes from the sun with an oversized pair of sunglasses.
AND JUST LIKE THAT CANCELLED
And Just Like That showrunner Michael Patrick King broke the shocking news that the show was coming to an end in a statement on HBO Max’s social media account on August 1.
“And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end,” he wrote.
“While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That season three, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.”
“Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12.”
Michael said that he, along with SJP, waited to announce the news because they didn’t want to overshadow the season as it aired.
“It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years,” he wrote.
SWEET TRIBUTE TO CARRIE
SJP, who has played lead Carrie Bradshaw for nearly 30 years, shared a sweet tribute to her beloved character on Instagram following the announcement.
“Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all,” Sarah wrote.
She continued, “MPK and I together recognized, as we have in the past, this chapter complete.”
“AJLT was all joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work alongside the most extraordinary talent of 380 that includes all the brilliant actors who joined us.

“I am better for every single day I spent with you. It will be forever before I forget. The whole thing. Thank you all. I love you so. I hope you love these final two episodes as much as we all do.”
Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York on the show, shared on Instagram that she was “profoundly sad.”
“I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love,” the actress wrote.
“And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever.”

SEX AND THE CITY LEGACY
When the revival launched in 2021, Sex and the City fans were excited to be back in the New York City world from the iconic original HBO show that ran from 1998 to 2004.
The show reunited Carrie with three of the original foursome in Miranda Hobbes, played by Cynthia Nixon, and Charlotte York, played by Davis, as actress Kim Cattrall refused to return.
Despite some criticism, the show reportedly consistently performed with viewers despite the criticism, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
A former Sex and the City actor previously told The U.S. Sun that it was the series’s “time to go.”
It ended on August 14, with an extra two episodes given to fans as they said goodbye.
