A CANCELED cop show on CBS has finally landed on Netflix after being axed THREE times.
After being canceled three times in a row, a hit cop show will finally be available to stream.

Fans don’t want season 8 to be the last season[/caption]
But they are still excited for it to land on the streaming giant[/caption]
The cop-based drama show S.W.A.T. was originally canceled after season 6, leaving fans gutted.
But a campaign led by lead character Sergeant Daniel star Shemar Moore resulted in season 7 getting produced, much to viewers’ delight.
Season 8 was announced and intended as the final season.
But fans were then left gutted when S.W.A.T. ended with season 8 due to dwindling viewers.
Canceled again, S.W.A.T. was axed three times before today’s huge news came to light.
NEW NETFLIX ADDITION
Now, streaming platform Netflix has confirmed that S.W.A.T. season 8 will be arriving on the streamer on Monday, September 15, after it concluded in May.
But despite Netflix picking up season 8, this does not mean another season is on the horizon.
Screen Rant reports that season 9 is very unlikely given how many times it was canceled and uncanceled by CBS.
But with the series now on Netflix, the show’s legacy will live on and the fanbase will likely increase.
S.W.A.T. follows Sergeant Daniel and his team from the LAPD.
The cops fight dangerous criminals and strive to protect the public from the threat they impose.
It first catapulted onto screens in 2018, with its final episode from season 8 wrapping up this May.
NETFLIX SHAKE UP
This news comes as Netflix axes 9 movies and 6 TV shows by August 31.
By August 31, several shows and movies will have gotten the chop from the streaming platform, including a Bachelor ‘spinoff’ and a Ryan Reynolds classic.
Several have already been axed this month already, with even more leaving this week.
Leaving the streamer on August 25 was hit movie Melancholia, which looks at the relationship between two sisters as Earth hurtles toward collision with another planet.
And on August 31, two hit movies from the same franchise will be leaving the streamer.
Starring an array of Hollywood stars, The Hitman’s Bodyguard series will be deleted from Netflix.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, is about a no-nonsense bodyguard – but fans won’t be able to watch it in September.
Another film from the franchise, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, which stars Salma Hayek, will also be exiting the streamer.
