Ombudsman should be more proactive on corruption rumors, lawmaker says

The Office of the Ombudsman needs to be more proactive in investigating corruption, a member of the House minority said Thursday as President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. gave the go signal for lifestyle checks on government officials.
