The princess, whose full name is Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, said in a July 2024 post: “Dear Husband.
“As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce.”
The post, which has since been deleted, continued: “I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.”
A rep for French Montana, 40, confirmed to TMZ the couple got engaged during Paris Fashion Week in June after he made his catwalk debut.
French, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, will become a step-father to Princess Sheikha Mahra’s one-year-old daughter.
The Moroccan-American rapper and the glamorous princess were first linked in October 2024.
She had recently split from Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, after accusing him of being “occupied with other companions”.
French previously had a highly publicized romance with Khloe, 41, back in 2014 after she had split from her athlete husband Lamar Odom.
After about eight months of dating, the couple had broken in September 2014.
The Unforgettable rapper later admitted being involved with a woman going through a divorce was difficult and “real emotional”.
He added: “It’s real s***. But sometimes you have to sacrifice for what you want.”
The pair have since have remained friends and have been spotted at various events together, including at Kanye West’s church service.
French also mentioned their friendship on The Wendy Williams Show back in 2016:
He said: “We cool. I think we’re always gonna be friends. I’m cool with that whole family. I’ve got nothing but love for them.”
French sparked rumours he was dating Doja Cat in 2022, after appearing to take a romantic getaway to the Bahamas together.
That year the Coke Boys rapper appeared in season four of Netflix’s Selling Sunset.
