SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls police are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred early Thursday morning.
According to Sioux Falls Police Spokesperson Sgt. Aaron Benson, officers were dispatched to an apartment building near 8th and Prairie, just before 2 a.m.
Benson said an argument between the suspect and three victims, an 18-year-old male, a 30-year-old female and a juvenile female, who chose to leave the apartment.
One of the victims returned to retrieve her backpack from inside the apartment when the suspect pulled out a knife and chased her out of the building.
The suspect chased the three victims down the alleyway before being taken into custody.
37-year-old Marvin Runs Close was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of domestic aggravated assault.
No injuries were reported.
