A MAJOR seasonal retailer is set to open more than 1,000 new stores over the coming months.
As summer draws to a close and the colder months draw near, many Americans’ minds will be drifting towards the holiday seasons.

Spirit Halloween remains one of the biggest names in the retail of themed decorations and costumes.
As the spooky season draws nearer, the chain is set to vastly expand its presence across North America.
Some 1,500 pop-up stores are set to open across the continent this year, New York state outlet WNYT has reported.
It will give plenty of options for people looking to stock up on all manner of spooky memorabilia ahead of the October holiday.
The Spirit Company added that is has kicked off its Spirit of Children fundraiser – supporting pediatric hospital programs.
Many of its pop-up locations are at the sites of previously closed stores in New York state, according to WNYT.
This includes the former Jo-Ann Fabrics building in Clifton Park and the former Big Lots in Hudson.
Another is set to open at the former Jo-Ann Fabrics in Lanesborough, Massachusetts.
WNYT also reported upcoming locations in Queensbury, Amsterdam, Saratoga, Schenectady and Troy.
It comes as JCPenney is closing down two locations in the US, one of which has been open for over 30 years.
The struggling company shut eight other locations this year, and 200 more since its devastating bankruptcy filing.
JCPenney announced massive liquidation sales at two stores in California and Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania store is offering shoppers a whopping 70% off on items right now.
The California store which can be found in the Westminster Mall, has been open for 32 years.
It is the mall’s oldest store – but it will be shut by November 21.
A spokesperson said: “Regretfully, we are unable to continue our current lease terms for this store location and have been unable to find another suitable location in the market.”
