NICOLA Peltz was noticeably absent from Selena Gomez’s bachelorette party after the pop star skipped her second wedding to Brooklyn Beckham.
Despite their former high profile friendship, it’s been reported that the ex-BFFs haven’t spoken “in months”.
Selena, 37, is gearing up to tie the knot with music producer Benny Blanco and, ahead of the nuptials, she jetted to Cabo with her closest pals to celebrate.
But actress Nicola, 30, didn’t make the trip – despite Selena once famously joking she was in a “throuple” with her and Brooklyn, 26.
Sources close to Selena recently told The Sun how she and Nicola have cut contact.
According to pals, Selena has had enough of Nicola’s “attention-seeking” behavior amid her and Brooklyn’s feud with his famous family.
A source told The Sun: “They’ve had arguments and have been distant for many months now – they don’t even talk any more.
“Selena has been truly disappointed with Nicola and Brooklyn for a while now.
“Last year, she noticed Nicola’s behaviour toward her and Benny turned into a constant quest for attention.
“There were many tense moments, for example, during dinners and lunches, where Nicola would try to sit where photographers could get the best angle, and she wasn’t very nice to Selena if people weren’t paying enough attention to her.
“Selena herself doesn’t care much for attention, but she doesn’t like it when someone acts like a ‘bratty teen’ and tries to push people aside.”
Nicola and Brooklyn had a secret vow renewal earlier this month, which his parents David and Victoria were also absent from.
Our source added: “Selena and Benny are very simple people who enjoy simple things, while Nicola and Brooklyn have turned into divas who always want the last word and think they’re right about everything. Selena got tired of it.
“She decided to distance herself from them and live her life the way she wants.”
