A HEALTHCARE system has broken its silence after disturbing TikTok videos showed its employees allegedly making fun of patients.

Sutter Health owns the Pesetas Urgent Care clinic in Santa Barbara, which is the facility that appears in the video that quickly went viral over Labor Day weekend, the company confirmed.
The TikTok post has since been deleted. The worker who posted it, identified only as Angie, changed her username and made her account private after coming under fire for the gross video.
After comments criticizing the employees flooded the comments of Sansum Clinic’s social media accounts, Sutter Health shared a statement responding to the backlash on Tuesday night.
“We share the concern raised by a recent social media post at one of our care sites and took immediate action once we became aware,” the statement said.
“We take this matter very seriously and are conducting a full review.”
The statement went on to say the behavior was “unacceptable” and that the person who posted the video was an ex-employee who didn’t work at the clinic when she posted it.
“Any other staff shown are part of our internal investigation and are on administrative leave pending the results,” Sutter Health said.
