BILL Belichick sent a clear message to his former team as he confirmed they were banned from the University of North Carolina.

His UNC Tar Heels beat Charlotte 20-3 to bounce back from a harrowing loss Monday.
The former New England Patriots coach saw his reign begin with a heavy defeat by TCU.
And reports emerged this week that he banned scouts from his old NFL team.
Belichick was asked about the ban after Saturday’s victory.
“It’s clear I’m not welcome there around their facility, Belichick said.
“So, they’re not welcome at ours. It’s pretty simple.”
Belichick was fired in 2023 after a 24-year reign in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
He won six Super Bowls as the team’s head coach with Tom Brady at quarterback.
The split was said to be mutual and amicable at the time.
But that relationship has apparently soured, judging by Belichick’s comments.
The coach was happy to get his first win as UNC boss this weekend after the Monday night loss.
He said, “It’s great but it’s really about the team.
“It was disappointing Monday night against TCU.
“But these guys bounced back and just got back to work.
“They were determined to have a better outcome.

The Boston Herald confirmed that the Patriots will still be provided with film by UNC of their players if requested.
John Middlekauff initially reported news of the ban.
Middlekauff said, “People get fired. But to ban the New England Patriots, that’s like an eff you to Robert Kraft.
“Guess what Robert Kraft’s not doing? Ever making a school call in the history of his life.
“He’s never going to any of these universities.
“It’s just some random kid, some random guy that works for Eliot Wolf going to the school.”
