Cheryl Richardson-Wagner released a statement on Facebook this weekend.
“I’m NOT the crazy Philly Mom,” she wrote.
“But I sure would love to be as thin as she is and move as fast.
“And I’m a Red Sox fan.”
The identity of the fan who confronted a dad over a home run ball remains a mystery.
The woman – dubbed “Phillies Karen” by internet users – demanded the father hand over the ball.
The whole incident was captured by NBC Sports Philadelphia and immediately went viral.
Phillies star Harrison Bader hit a home run into the stands at Miami Marlins’ LoanDepot Park.
A female spectator was beaten to the ball by a jubilant dad – who gave the ball to his son.
But the angry woman marched over to remonstrate.
The dad ended up giving her the ball to avoid further confrontation.
New footage has emerged of the woman making her way back to her seat.
She was seen giving a middle finger gesture to fans in the area who witnessed the incident.
Another angle from the stands seemingly captured what the woman said.
“That was mine,” she yelled. “You took it from me.
“It was in my hands.”
The father looked stunned and ended up giving the ball to her.
It was revealed that the ball was a birthday gift for the boy.
A Miami Marlins staffer presented the young fan with a swag bag in the stands.
And he was then invited down to meet Bader after the game.
Bader presented the fan with a signed bat as the youngster’s family watched on.
