NFL fans are raging over Patrick Mahomes’ antics during the Friday night Brazil games.
Mahomes has gained a reputation for using the sideline to his advantage, and fans are fed up with it.

If a player gets hit while going out of bounds, it often ends up as a 15-yard penalty for the team on defense.
Mahomes knows this, and has often skirted his way up the sideline before darting out of bounds at the last minute.
By doing that, he makes a defender commit to going for the tackle and they end up hitting him out of bounds.
On Friday, Mahomes decided to flip the script.
On a scramble in the third quarter, Mahomes made it appear as if he was going out of bounds, causing the opposing player to pull up so he didn’t hit him out of bounds.
Once he saw that, Mahomes lowered his shoulder and blew up the defender while he made his way out of bounds.
The Chargers were clearly upset with Mahomes’ hit, with one player shoving him after the play was over.
No flags were thrown on the play.
Fans were left infuriated by the play, with many hoping that the NFL either changed its rule or that defenders would start hitting Mahomes harder.
“This is all defenders need to see. Cant cry wolf next time his a** gets lit up on the sideline,” one fan said.
“The NFL needs to change how this play is managed,” another fan said.
“If will die on this hill, when a qb leaves the pocket and advances past the LOS, he is a running back and all protections are off,” a third fan said.
“He’s been abusing the QB’s advantage at the sideline for 3 years now,” a fourth fan said.
“I hope the next defender takes him out of the game,” a fifth fan said.

The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Los Angeles Chargers 21-27.
That dropped the Chiefs to last place in the AFC West, as the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos all picked up wins in Week 1.
