Erin Andrews told ‘stop it’ after making Fox NFL Sunday star blush live on air – ‘another woman lying to me’

ERIN Andrews got a Fox NFL Sunday star’s attention to the point of making him blush.

A Fox NFL Sunday veteran told Andrews to “stop it” during a sequence of the Week 1 edition of the pregame football show.

Fox NFL Sunday was tasked with previewing the Washington Commanders-New York Giants matchup.

The No. 1 Fox NFL crew, which features Andrews, play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt, and Tom Brady, was on the call of the divisional game.

But first, the program showed Andrews and quarterback Russell Wilson in a past-recorded interview.

Andrews made sure to remind Wilson about the fact that he’s back in New York, where he led the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl 48 win at MetLife Stadium in 2014.

The interview was also filmed at a location overlooking the New York City skyline – the same site where Fox NFL Sunday’s Howie Long interviewed Wilson before the big game victory.

A sequence of the 2014 interview was also displayed with the 25-year-old at the time, Wilson, and a younger Long.

After Andrews’ interview with Wilson, the 47-year-old NFL sideline reporter was shown on the field at Northwest Stadium.

Andrews gave some kudos to Long for looking younger than his 65-year-old age.

“Can we give some love to my guy Howie Long,” she said.

“Russell Wilson says he feels like he’s 25.

“How about Howie Long looking like he’s 25 now.”

Long was then shown in the Fox NFL Sunday studio as he blushed at Andrews’ comment.

He then laughed and told Andrews, “Stop it.

“Another woman lying to me.”

Unfortunately for Wilson, he didn’t look 25 years of age in the Giants’ 21-7 loss.

He completed 17 of 37 passes for no touchdowns or interceptions.

Wilson was also sacked twice, along with 44 rushing yards, most of those while evading pressure.
