Nicole Briscoe and Michael Eaves were hosting SportsCenter when it was shown.
And the hosts were stunned by the female fan’s actions.
“Oh she went after him,” Briscoe said after the woman confronted the dad.
“She is big mad.
“Like he went into her space to get the ball, but she goes on and on and on.
“And the dad is immediately is like, ‘Well if it means that much to you,’
“Then he takes the ball from his kids glove and goes, ‘Here, you can have it.’”
Eaves also added, “Really lady.”
The identity of the fan who confronted a dad over a home run ball remains a mystery.
The woman – dubbed “Phillies Karen” by internet users – demanded the father hand over the ball.
The whole incident was captured by NBC Sports Philadelphia and immediately went viral.
Phillies star Harrison Bader hit a home run into the stands at Miami Marlins’ LoanDepot Park.
A female spectator was beaten to the ball by a jubilant dad – who gave the ball to his son.
But the angry woman marched over to remonstrate.
The dad ended up giving her the ball to avoid further confrontation.
New footage has emerged of the woman making her way back to her seat.
She was seen giving a middle finger gesture to fans in the area who witnessed the incident.
SportsCenter host Eaves added, “Awesome, make her feel terrible.”
While Briscoe said, “Yes, please make her feel terrible.
“Because here is the thing: you took it from a kid.
“Hate to call her a Karen, but…”
