CATFISH’s Nev Schulman has raised concerns that the show has been cancelled after posting a major clue online.
Nev has hosted the show, which follows couples who’ve formed Internet romances but have never met in person, since its debut on MTV in November 2012.

The show has gained significant popularity over its last eight seasons, but fans fear that it might be coming to an end based on Nev’s recent Instagram post.
Last week, the 40-year-old shared a video of himself riding his bicycle through the bustling streets of New York City, dressed in a blue suit, sunglasses, and a helmet.
He wrote over the clip, “On my way to help you buy/sell your dream home.”
The TV personality further explained his whereabouts in his caption, writing, “In my real estate era.”
‘WHERE’S CATFISH?’
Nev has been shifting his focus toward real estate and recently joined Coldwell Banker Warburg as a licensed agent in September.
Although he hasn’t mentioned if this means he’s exiting the reality TV world and leaving Catfish behind, fans think his career pivot could hint at the show’s possible cancellation.
“Where’s catfish Nev?” one person asked in the comments.
“We need you back into the Catfish era!!” begged another.
“At least when max and kamie left they had the decency to tell us they were leaving the show. This feels a bit like you’re ghosting us,” said a third, referring to Nev’s former co-hosts Max Joseph and Kamie Crawford.
Max was Nev’s original co-host until he left in August 2018 to prioritize his career as a filmmaker.
He briefly returned for one episode in April 2024, but Kamie had already taken the reins permanently since 2019.
However, Kamie announced her departure in October 2024, and her replacement has not been revealed.
SCARY ACCIDENT
Weeks before, Nev experienced a terrifying health scare when he broke his neck in a motorcycle accident.
The MTV star shared photos of himself from his hospital bed, sporting a neck brace and a bloodied face.
He revealed he was in the Intensive Care Unit after sustaining serious injuries when his motorcycle collided with a truck.
Nev assured fans that he was on the mend and hadn’t suffered any permanent damage, while thanking the nurses and doctors who cared for him.
The real estate mogul also shared a video of his three children hugging him as he stood in his hospital gown and new neckwear.
Nev shares his kids, Cleo James, Beau Bobby Bruce, and Cy Monroe, with his wife, Laura.
The executive producer rose to fame after the release of his 2010 documentary, Catfish, which became the inspiration behind the TV show of the same name.
