SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A man is in jail after stabbing his neighbor with a metal dental pick over a disagreement about drug money.
According to the Sioux Falls Police Department, Joseph Gregersen, 76, was arrested for aggravated assault. He also faces a drug possession charge.
SFPD responded to an apartment near 10th Street and Summit Avenue early Wednesday morning where Gregersen and a neighbor were drinking together in an apartment when they began arguing over money. The 65-year-old stabbing victim gave Gregersen money to buy drugs.
Gregersen returned to the apartment without drugs or the money. He then stabbed his neighbor multiple times in the head with the metal dental pick.
