THE son of actor Kevin Sorbo sparked outrage after making a bizarre statement about women’s suffrage during an interview on Truth and Liberty.
Braeden Sorbo, 24, told conservative host Richard Harris that the Democrats have “taken away true freedom” from women.

“The left has taken away true freedom, and they’ve replaced it with what I call daycare,” Sorbo told Harris.
“They told women that it was not empowering to raise a family.”
Sorbo went on to discuss how men and women used to work side by side, before women were encouraged to enter what he calls a “corporate daycare.”
Harris asked Sorbo if there is a return in the younger generation to traditional gender roles, to which Sorbo said, “There totally is.”
“I know more young women today who say they wish they didn’t ever get the right to vote,” Sorbo said.
“[Women say] I would much rather give up my right to vote if it meant 10,000 liberal women didn’t get the right to vote.”
Sorbo claimed that young women say that if women had never gotten the right to vote, then there would be no issue with abortion and feminism.
“What we have to realize is that women control the household, which means they control the vote of their husbands,” Sorbo went on to say.
The young far-right conservative said that women not having the right to vote would simply combine the vote of a household rather than having two individual ballots.
“We tricked thousands and thousands and thousands of people into believing [not being able to vote] was oppression.”
Harris then bluntly asks: “Are you saying women shouldn’t have the right to vote?”
“Yes,” Sorbo replied.
“My stance is a voting system based on Christian morals.
“It’s not that women shouldn’t vote, it’s that they should vote with their husbands.”
Who is Kevin Sorbo?
Kevin Sorbo, 66, is an actor, producer, and director best known for his role in the 1995–1999 TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He also starred in the movie God Is Not Dead and Kull the Conqueror. He is married to Sam Sorbo and shares three children with her.
Sorbo said he believes that allowing both genders to vote is essentially pitting them against each other, which has led to the downfall of many countries.
Sorbo, whose father, Kevin, starred in the series Hercules, sparked major backlash online for his controversial views.
Kevin and his wife, Sam, are both known to be outspoken Trump supporters as well.
“Imagine always blaming your faults and failures on women and other races,” one person replied to a clip of Sorbo’s interview posted on X by Right Wing Watch.
“God it is disturbing to know that Kevin Sorbo spawned offspring,” another user commented.
Other users criticized Sorbo for blaming women for centuries of “men making terrible decisions in office.”
