And the MLB team have added reinforced glass to protect POTUS, a day after Charlie Kirk’s terrifying assassination.

The bulletproof panels have been placed in front of where Trump is expected to sit in the Steinbrenner suite on Thursday evening.

His attendance comes on the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

Two planes were flown into The Twin Towers in Lower Manhattan on 11 September 2001.

A third plane also struck The Pentagon in Washington DC that dark day.

The President and First Lady Melania Trump attended a ceremony at The Pentagon Thursday morning.

Trump will then be at Yankee Stadium for the 7.05 pm ET first pitch.

The Yankees released guidelines to fans attending, detailing the enhanced security measures.

Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News shared the guidelines on X.

“Stadium gates will open to ticketed fans at 4:00 p.m. (three hours before the scheduled first pitch time of 7:05 p.m.),” the statement read.

“Guests are encouraged to arrive as close to 4:00 p.m. as possible to expedite entry.

“Bags will NOT be allowed in Yankee Stadium with the exception of one ‘clutch-type’ bag per guest. The maximum size of a clutch bag is 4.5″ x 6.5”.

“Guests should make every effort to restrict personal items to an absolute minimum. Any such items should be able to fit in a pocket.

“All bags, personal items and their contents will be inspected before being permitted into Yankee Stadium.

“There is NO storage area at Yankee Stadium for prohibited items.

“Bottles, cans and liquids will NOT be permitted in Yankee Stadium. Restricted items include empty, reusable water bottles.

“Laptops and tablets will NOT be permitted in Yankee Stadium.

President Trump also attended the US Open final in New York on Sunday[/caption]

“Guests should expect that typically accessible areas inside and outside Yankee Stadium may become restricted spaces before, during or after the game.”

Trump also attended the US Open men’s final in New York on Sunday.

US Open officials placed extra security measures on fans attending the game at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

It was also delayed by more than 30 minutes after news of the President’s attendance.

Wednesday’s New York Yankees game against the Detroit Tigers began with a moment to remember Charlie Kirk.

The conservative activist, 31, and Trump ally was shot dead at a rally in Utah on Wednesday.

Trump survived an assassination attack last year while campaigning at an event in Pennsylvania.

A gunman fired eight shots, with one bullet hitting his ear.

He was then shot dead by a Secret Service sniper.

The US Sun has contacted the Yankees for comment on the security measures.
