And the super-fight for the ages has brought all the stars to town – including Britain’s heavyweight icon Lewis.
The 60-year-old legend had his fair shair of blockbuster Sin City showdowns against the likes of Evander Holyfield and Hasim Rahman.
And he expects Crawford’s leap of faith against Canelo to be just as spectacular – as neither are capable of coming to lie down.
He said: “I’m talking Canelo, he’s boxed a lot of guys that move around and he’s used to that kind of boxing.
“He’s used to guys that try and hide but Crawford ain’t gonna try and hide. Crawford’s going to put some punches on him and keep him at a distance.
“That’s what I would do if I was Crawford and then take his opportunity. I would say Canelo is not easy to hit but can be hit.
“You’ve got two amazing fighters putting everything on the line especially when there’s so much money in this fight.
“It’s crazy. It’s one of those fights of the century you can call it.”

Canelo vs Crawford – All the info

IT’S finally time – one of the biggest boxing matches EVER takes place THIS WEEKEND.
Two of boxing’s GOATs will meet in the ring as they fight for pound-for-pound supremacy and the super-middleweight crown.
Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Terence Crawford have been fixtures in the top of the rankings for years and are considered among the best to ever do it.
Unbeaten Crawford, who beat Israil Madrimov to win the light-middleweight title last time out, hasn’t fought for a year.
He is jumping up two weight divisions to meet Canelo, having spent most of his career weighing in even lighter.
Mexican favourite Canelo has scored title defences over Edgar Berlanga and William Scull since Crawford was last inside a ring.

Crawford, 37, started his career winning world titles in the 135lb lightweight division and last reignined at the 154lb super-welterweight mark.
But he goes up TWO more weight classes for 35-year-old Canelo’s 168lb throne – looking for his most audacious victory yet – to put him alongide boxing’s best of all time.
Lewis said: “Absolutely he is pound for pound right now, but obviously he wants to test his strength and his skill out on another champion and this is the way you do it.
“This is how you make history.”
Lewis – who retired in 2004 – predicts a Mexican shootout so it will be down to whoever risks pulling the trigger first.
He said: “It will be explosive. I’ll tell you why, because both of them can hit. Both of them are there to get hit.”
“And if they take that chance – there’s a chance you’re going to get hit. So whoever takes it first and gets through will be successful.”
