PRAYERS and well wishes have flooded in for college football coach Shawn Clark after he was rushed to hospital following a medical emergency.
Clark is an offensive line coach for UCF Athletics, whom he joined after Scott Frost was appointed by the school for a second time.

But the 50-year-old suffered a medical emergency on Tuesday evening and was hospitalized.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the school said: “Last night, UCF offensive line coach Shawn Clark experienced a medical emergency.
“He is currently in a stable condition and receiving appropriate care.
“Coach Frost and our football and administration staffs are fully supporting coach Clark and his loved ones during this time and our thoughts and prayers are with Shawn and his family.
“Update will be shared as appropriate.”
Taking to social media in response to the news, Eliah Drinkwitz – head coach at the University of Missouri – sent a heartfelt statement over.
He said: “We are praying for Shawn, his wife and kids.
“Shawn is a fighter and we are in his corner!”
Fans online also sent their love.
One said: “Shawn’s resilience is inspiring.
“Let’s keep sending positive vibes to him and his family!”
A second said: “Prayers for Coach Clark.”
A third added: “Godspeed.”
Another said: “Coach Clark is a real good man.
“Thinking of him and his family.”
A fifth said: “Wish him a speedy recovery.”
Clark spent the previous five seasons as head coach at Appalachian State.
There he had a record of 40-24.
He was fired last December after the school’s first losing season since 2013.
