AARON Rodgers has given praise to a Pittsburgh Steelers player who has made a good impression in practice so far.
The 41-year-old Rodgers penned his one-year, $13.6 million contract with the Steelers last weekend after an offseason filled with uncertainty about his future.

Rodgers arrived at the Steelers’ first day of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.
The four-time NFL MVP will lead the team’s quarterback room, which also consists of veterans Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson, and rookie Will Howard.
Rodgers spoke to reporters and was asked about numerous topics, including the sixth-round pick Howard, who is set to be the third-string play caller in Steel City.
The 20-year NFL veteran raved about the soon-to-be 24-year-old Howard.
“Will’s a good kid. We’ve got to talk a little bit. I thought he did really well today,” Rodgers said during his post-practice media availability.
“You know, he seems pretty bright.
“Not too big for him.
“Going through the progressions really well.”
Rodgers then discussed how he will help the Ohio State Buckeyes product this summer.
“I’m gonna be with him every single day in every single meeting,” he explained.
“Found my seat next to him today in the offensive meeting, whether or not that sticks, right next to Will Howard.
“So, I’m gonna help him out as much as I can.”
This isn’t Rodgers’ first rodeo to help a young quarterback out.
During his last few seasons with the Green Bay Packers, he helped mentor a young Jordan Love, who is now the franchise quarterback of the iconic franchise.
Then, Rodgers had a positive relationship with Zach Wilson while teammates with the New York Jets.

Howard won’t have pressure on him with Rodgers and Rudolph over him on the depth chart.
He is coming off a collegiate season in which he led Ohio State to a national title.
Howard was named Offensive MVP of the championship games.
He recorded 83 passing touchdowns against 35 interceptions along with 26 rushing scores in his four years in college.
