Rodgers got an opening week win against the New York Jets and passed for four touchdowns in that game

However, his good fortune would not continue into Week 2.

Rodgers ran into a brick wall in the form of the Seattle Seahawks‘ defense, and he struggled to get anything going.

Rodgers completed 18 of his 33 passes for 203 yards.

Even worse, he threw two interceptions to just one touchdown.

Rodgers was sacked three times in the game, adding up to 20 yards in losses.

The big issue in the game was that the Steelers were unable to get their rushing game going.

Jaylen Warren only managed 48 yards and no touchdowns.

Backup Kenneth Gainwell had just 20 yards and no touchdowns.

On top of that, Rodgers was forced to check down the ball often.

Warren was also the team’s leading receiver, catching four passes for 86 yards.

The $30 million man DK Metcalf had just three catches for 20 yards, but he did score a touchdown.

The Steelers ended up losing the game 31-17 and fell to 1-1 on the season.

They face off against the New England Patriots next.
