AN NFL Star who was the 37th overall pick in 2024 has been traded away for two low picks.
After an injury nightmare, the New England Patriots have cut their losses on a second-round pick from last year’s NFL Draft.

The Pats traded Ja’Lynn Polk to the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.
The Saints will receive Polk and a 2028 seventh-round pick in return for a 2027 sixth-round pick.
The wide receiver is currently on the injury list with a shoulder problem.
He is not expected to return this season.
Even before the injury, Polk looked unlikely to make the 53-man roster with a new coaching staff under Mike Vrabel taking over.
The Patriots had traded down three spots with the Los Angeles Chargers to select the 23-year-old.
LA instead selected receiver Ladd McConkey, which now looks like the better decision.
McConkey had a superb rookie season, while Polk struggled to establish himself.
Speaking in a pregame interview, Vrabel praised the wideouts’ rehab work and extended his best wishes.
He said, “We wish him the best.
“We were going to be without Ja’Lynn this year anyway, and we felt like what was best was to give him a fresh start.”
The Saints also signed receiver Devaughn Vele in August from the Denver Broncos.
They gifted Denver a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick.
Similarly, New England announced that defensive back Kobee Minor and linebacker Mark Robinson have been elevated from the practice squad.
Polk was drafted by the Pats out of the University of Washington.
