Johnson reposted and replied to a tweet that many felt was about Kirk[/caption]
The post, written by Gianmarco Soresi, was originally reposted on Raine’s Instagram Story.
“If you want people to have kind words when you pass, you should say kind things when you’re alive,” the post read.
The post did not directly name Kirk, but Raine shed further light on it with a response on X.
“And I’ll stand by this,” she wrote.
“Be kind, now more than ever.”
Raine’s comments came just hours after Kirk was pronounced dead after being shot on campus at Utah Valley University.
Her comments were instantly flooded with fans condemning her words.
Many of those fans called for Raine, who followed in her father’s wrestling footsteps, to be fired from WWE.
“Be kind or get assassinated? What kind of message is that. No one can live up to that standard,” one fan said.
“Hey @TripleH and @WWE do you want this representing the younger part of the company,” another fan said.
“You’re an evil person,” a third fan said.
“You would NOT have a job if it wasn’t for your father being The Rock,” a fourth fan said.
“You need to be fired,” a fifth fan said.
Many critics of Kirk who mocked his death have found themselves without jobs due to their posts.
The Carolina Panthers fired the team’s football communications coordinator for an “insensitive social media post.”

Teams in the NFL, the New York Yankees, and Nascar have all honored Kirk in the past few days.
