The woman in front, who appeared to be on her phone, remained completely unbothered.

The viral video has divided opinion online, with some expressing frustration at passengers who recline their seats.

But others argued the outburst was unnecessary, pointing out that she had plenty of legroom.

The incident took place on a high-speed train – China boasts the world’s largest and most widely used network.

The system spans nearly 30,000 miles and connects more than 550 cities.

Meanwhile, in early September, chaos broke out on another journey.

A flight from Manchester Airport to the Turkish city of Antalya had to make an emergency landing after a British tourist allegedly punched a fellow passenger.

The plane landed in Thessaloniki, Greece, following the reported incident.

A 35-year-old Brit allegedly hit a 41-year-old Turkish passenger on board, according to the Manchester Evening News.

It’s unclear how the incident started, but the pilot made the emergency stop at 11pm local time.

The Brit was arrested after landing, according to Greek outlet Kathimerini.

Kathimerini reported he was convicted in a Thessaloniki court over the alleged assault.

He was handed a 15-month prison sentence as a result.

However, he was allowed to “buy off” the sentence at a rate of €10 (£8.67) per day.

The Brit was found guilty of dangerous bodily harm and disturbing the peace on the flight.

He allegedly admitted to having had a small amount of alcohol, telling the court: “I didn’t do anything violent.”

Cabin crew reportedly said he drank two cans of beer.
