THE Cincinnati Bengals have signed two new quarterbacks after Joe Burrow’s devastating injury news.
Burrow suffered a major injury to his toe during Sunday’s win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The QB’s ‘turf toe’ will keep him sidelined for at least three months.
Despite this, backup Jake Browning led the team to a Week 2 win.
The Bengals have now signed two other quarterbacks to the practice squad, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Sean Clifford and Sean Clifford join journeyman backup Brett Rypien in the reserves.
Clifford is a 27-year-old playmaker from Cincinnati.
He graduated from the elite high school football programme at St. Xavier before heading to Penn State.
He was then picked up in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, where he stayed for two seasons.
He was released last month as part of the final roster cuts.
White, 30, also joins off the back of being cut in August.
He graduated from Western Kentucky in 2017, leading him to be picked up in the fifth round, like Clifford, in the draft.
The Dallas Cowboys selected him in 2018 before heading to the New York Jets for three seasons.
He spent a year at both the Miami Dolphins (2023) and the Buffalo Bills (2024), and now joins the Bengals.
Including Cincinnati, Rypien has been associated with seven NFL teams.
He has ten appearances in his seven years in the league and has four passing touchdowns.
Despite this, he spent last season on the Bears and Vikings’ offseason and practice squads and last played an NFL down in 2022.

The injury to Burrow is a major blow to the Bengals.
His earliest return is reported to be mid-December, meaning Browning will likely be a starter for at least twelve weeks.
Cincinnati are currently 2-0 after Browning led his side to victory on Sunday.
He threw for 241 yards and two touchdowns as they sneaked a 31-27 victory.
He even scored the game-winning TD, launching himself over the Jaguars’ line from one yard.
The Bengals face the Vikings in Week 3.
