SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A search for a missing toddler in Castlewood came to a tragic end.
Authorities in the Castlewood area received a report of a missing one-and-a-half-year-old boy Monday afternoon.
They brought in search crews from several departments. They went through buildings, wooded areas and fields.
Just after 6 p.m. Monday, they found the little boy in a slough, where he had drowned.
The location was just south of where he had last been seen.
