BOXER Adrien Broner was awkwardly told to leave the set during his appearance on rapper Cam’ron’s ‘It Is What It Is’ podcast due to his persistent flirting with a female co-host.
The former multi-weight champion was brought onto the show to discuss the recent superstar bout between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.

However, the scene quickly took a tense turn as the 36-year-old began to make increasingly inappropriate comments towards co-host Treasure ‘Stat Baby’ Wilson.
He told Wilson: “You look so good in person for real, what you weigh stat? I love you I swear to God.”
Cam’ron intervened to tell the Cincinnati native to stop making the comments, and that Wilson’s boyfriend was in attendance, to which the boxer replied “Oh s**t my bad.”
But Broner quickly seemed to forget the host’s request and returned to his persistent flirting.
He said: “I’m mesmerised by Stat, I did not know you looked that good in person.”
The tense situation reached a head when Cam’ron jovially asked Broner his thoughts on the recent injury to Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, of whom both men are fans.
“I can’t talk… you told me to stop… my bad bro,” Broner stuttered before turning to Stat once more and declaring “you’re amazing.”
This was the final straw for Cam’ron, who told his guest that he had to leave, before beginning to count cash to pay him for his appearance on the show.
The rapper said: “We going to have to ask you to go, my n****.
“I asked you the first time. I don’t want no problems with you, but I’m gonna pay you for your time, but you can’t violate bruh.
“I told you n****’s boyfriend is here. But I appreciate your time.”
Broner tried to apologise, but Cam’ron calmly escorted him out of the studio.
A clip of the encounter would later be shared to the rapper’s Instagram page with the caption: “See this just why we don’t just let anybody come on our show. [Broner] was outta pocket, so [Cam’ron] politely told this [ninja emoji] to exit the building.”
It is the latest entry in Broner’s troubled story since reaching the pinnacle of the boxing world just over a decade ago.
Nicknamed ‘The Problem’, Broner found stardom in 2011 when he won the WBO Super Featherweight title at age 22.

He would go one to fight legends such as Manny Pacquiao[/caption]
Over the following two years, he would add lightweight and welterweight titles to his name as he battled to a 27-0 record.
But a series of legal and mental health issues outside the ring accompanied a downturn in form for the former champion.
After pulling out of a fight against Omar Figueroa in 2022, Broner acknowledged the impact of those issues, saying: “Sorry to all my fans but mental health is real and I’m not about to play inside the ring.
“Just pray for me. I love the sport of boxing too much to not give my all and I feel like I came up short before because my mind wasn’t 100% there and I be damn if I make that mistake again.”
Since his WBA welterweight title win over Paulie Malignaggi in 2013, aged just 23, Broner has put up a record of 11-5-1, a far cry from his former glory.
He last fought in 2024, losing to Blair Cobbs in Florida via unanimous decision.
