IT’S been multiple weeks and we still don’t know the true identity of the Phillies Karen.
After a Philadelphia Phillies fan stole a home run ball from a young fan, internet sleuths have been hard at work trying to track them down.

The identity of the Phillies Karen is still a mystery[/caption]
Two people were falsely identified as the Karen, and the real woman is still out there[/caption]
The mystery woman went viral in a game between the Phillies and the Miami Marlins.
Center fielder Harrison Bader hit a home run to left field, giving the Phillies a 5-1 lead.
When the ball landed in the stands, there was a scramble among fans to pick it up.
A father ended up grabbing the ball and brought it to his son.
However, the Phillies Karen followed him and berated him until he gave it back to her.
Ever since she was caught on the broadcast, fans have been searching for her identity.
The first person of interest was Cheryl Richardson-Wagner.
She was found on Facebook and fans instantly swarmed her page.
However, Richardson-Wagner quickly cleared her name with a post revealing she is a Red Sox fan.
“OK everyone… I’m NOT the crazy Philly Mom (but I sure would love to be as thin as she is and move as fast)… and I’m a Red Sox fan,” she posted.
“Apparently, I am trending on Twitter. I wonder if I will get apologies from all of these people when the real culprit is discovered.”
The most recent target was Leslie-Ann Kravitz, and their were claims she worked at the Hammonton School District in New Jersey.
However, these claims aren’t rock solid as the school district confirmed the woman does not work there.
“The woman identified on social media as ‘Phillies Karen’ is not, and has never been an employee of the Hammonton Public Schools located in Hammonton, New Jersey,” the school district posted.
“Social media and news reports indicating that she is, are incorrect.”

All this means is that the real Phillies Karen is still on the loose, and it is possible that she is never identified.
She might forever get away with stealing that baseball.
However it isn’t a sad story through and through.
The Phillies made things right by inviting the young fan who had his ball taken to meet Bader and get some signed gear.
So in the end, he made out with much more than just a home run ball.
