Anna’s husband, Josh Duggar, has been in prison since May 2022 after being convicted on child pornography charges[/caption]

Josh, 37, has been locked up in FCI Seagoville in Dallas, Texas, following his conviction on child pornography charges in May 2022.

Despite the separation, his children appear to be doing well and enjoying the company of some new furry companions, based on a clip posted by the Golden Grove Pups – a golden retriever breeder with which Anna has been working closely.

In the video, the youngsters smiled and laughed as they played with three puppies in the grass.

The little ones looked happy as they cuddled the adorable canines that are currently available for adoption.

“Three kids + three pups Enjoying a beautiful day together, full of giggles, tiny paws, and sunshine.

“Is there anything better than these simple, happy moments?” the post’s caption read.

According to the company’s website and social media pages, it focuses on breeding and raising English Cream AKC Golden Retrievers.

Anna, 37, recently ventured into dog breeding as a career after filing a business license with Golden Grove Pups, LLC, in December.

Her kids have regularly been featured in videos promoting the business, and the pets appear to be a positive distraction from the family’s legal troubles.

It also seems to be a lucrative job for Anna, as it was recently revealed that she charges $2,000 per pup.

Anna is rumored to be struggling financially since her husband’s arrest, as fans suspected that she moved into her father-in-law Jim Bob‘s Arkansas home.

The former TV star and her kids were previously living on Josh’s father’s compound, before seemingly upgrading their living quarters to a $1million property that Jim Bob recently purchased.

Fans got a peek at the 6,318-square-foot abode in a video posted last month, where Maryella and Madyson were again seen cuddling with puppies.

The home has six bedrooms and six bathrooms to comfortably accommodate the seven of them, which include Anna, Mackynzie, 15; Michael, 13; Marcus, 11; Meredith, 9; Mason, 7; Maryella, 5; and Madyson, 3.

Josh Duggar’s Legal Timeline

Former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar was sentenced to 151 months in prison for downloading and possessing child sex abuse images in December 2021. Here’s the timeline of the ex-reality star’s legal woes.

  • Josh was initially accused of downloading child sexual abuse material in May 2019 after an investigation by Homeland Security Investigators.
  • Later that November, Homeland Security visited the car dealership where Josh was working to raid his computer.
  • On April 29, 2021, Josh was arrested and held without bail at an Arkansas jail.
  • He was charged the next day during a hearing at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas via Zoom with receiving and possessing child sex abuse images, to which he pled not guilty.
  • Josh’s trial began on November 30, 2021, in a federal courtroom in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and a verdict was reached on December 9, 2021.
  • He was found guilty of knowing and receiving child sex abuse material.
  • In May 2022, Josh was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison and ordered to pay $50,100 in fines and special assessments.
  • Josh’s legal team later appealed the conviction to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, which was denied in late 2023.
  • Shortly after, Josh again appealed for a new trial, with his attorney arguing that federal agents wouldn’t allow Josh to call him at the time of his arrest.
  • On June 24, 2024, Josh’s request was again rejected.

Josh is not scheduled for release from prison until December 23, 2032, after completing his over 12-year sentence.

The eldest Duggar sibling has been fighting to appeal his conviction, claiming his “constitutional rights” were “violated” and that he didn’t receive a “fair trial.”

His parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have stood by the TV personality since his arrest, although not all of his 18 siblings have been supportive.

Anna has also remained in her husband’s corner, as The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed in January 2023, that she was visiting him regularly from behind bars.

She’s also reportedly brought their kids to see their dad, as he is legally not allowed to be around them unsupervised.

Anna and Josh married in 2008 following a two-year courtship.
