THE Summer I Turned Pretty has confirmed a spin-off movie is in the works after the season finale aired this week.
Fans were gutted when a crucial scene was seemingly axed from the final ever episode of the hit series, meaning fans did not get to see Belly and Conrad tie the knot.

But now fans are overjoyed after it was revealed a movie is in the works, meaning they will most likely get to see the love birds tie the knot.
On the show’s Instagram page, they shared a photo of lead characters Belly played by Lola Tung and Conrad played by Christopher Briney on the red carpet.
In the caption, the account penned, “The Summer I Turned Pretty the Movie.”
Fans went wild in an instant with one writing, “EXCUUUUSE ME!! Well isn’t this the best day everrrr.”
“AS IF I HAVEN’T CRIED ENOUGH TODAY,” said a second.

The plot of The Summer I Turned Pretty centers around a love triangle between teenagers Belly Conklin (Lola Tung) and brothers Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney).
The ending of the season finale left viewers annoyed and begging for an additional episode – with all of their dreams now set to come true.
Fans were first outraged when Belly and Jeremiah were engaged to be married, but were overjoyed when their planned wedding was called off.
